Dear Sai devotees,

SHITAL by Baba’s grace will endeavor to follow Baba's Punyatithi as closely to Shirdi as possible, and would urge your active participation online during the Festival.

 

Baba's Punyatithi will start on Saturday 24th October and finishes on Sunday 25th October.

 

Please note: All the rituals and celebration will be avail live on our website http://www.shirdisai.org.uk/live , as we adhere to the government’s guidelines temple will be closed for devotees.

Devotees who wish to participate in Akhand Parayan of Shri Sai Satcharitra, please register your interest by sending an email to [email protected]. Please note that Shri Sai Satcharitra in English will be used for this purpose, so we need 50 devotees to finish 50 chapters)

10:00 am     Flower Samadhi i.e. covering Shri Sai Baba till neck with fresh cut flowers & Petals, (On 16th Oct, 1918 early morning, Baba appeared to Das Ganu at Pandharpur in his dream and said to him "The Masjid collapsed, all the oilmen and grocers of Shirdi teased me a lot, so I leave the place. I, therefore, came to inform you here, please go there quickly and cover me with ‘Bakkal’ flowers "Plentiful of Flowers" Ref. Shri Sai Satcharitra Marathi, chapter 42 verse 70 and 71; English, page 222, by Govind Raghunath Dabholkar alias "Hemadpant").
